Why Baser Detailing
A shopping centre car wash and a proper detail are apples and oranges. Five people spending 90 minutes on your car at volume is a rinse and vacuum — it's not the same job. Here's what's actually different.
It's me on your car the entire time. No handoffs, no crew rotating through, no one rushing to clock off. You book me — I do the work.
A full detail takes 4–5 hours. That's not inefficiency — that's what it takes to do stain removal, get into every surface properly, and hand dry the paint without swirl marks.
No driving somewhere, waiting around, then driving back. You go about your day at home and the car gets sorted in your driveway.
The detail
Interior, exterior, or the full job — all done by hand. Most people go the full detail, but if the car only needs one side of it, that's there too.
A full interior treatment — not just a vacuum. Every surface cleaned, treated and left looking the way it should.
Wheels, paint and glass — a proper hand wash, not a quick rinse.
Everything, in one visit. Inside and out, top to bottom — the car leaves like new.
Prices are for sedans & hatches. SUVs, 4WDs and vans are a little more — I'll confirm the exact price when you book. Heavily soiled interiors or pet hair can add time; I'll always tell you before I start, never after. Not offered yet: paint correction and ceramic coating.
How it runs
Interior first while the car's dry, wheels next as the dirtiest job, then the full exterior wash and dry. It's the order that keeps the finish clean and nothing gets re-dirtied.
The full cabin gets done while everything's dry — vacuum, surfaces, glass and mats — so no overspray or runoff lands on fresh work.
The dirtiest part of the car gets isolated — wheels, barrels, arches and tyres — before any panel washing starts.
Thorough wash from top to bottom, then a careful hand dry. The paint is the last thing touched and the first thing you'll notice.

Anywhere in the metro area, I'll come to you — no driving across town, no dropping the car off. Not sure if you're in range? Just ask.
Home, work, driveway or kerbside. You just need a tap and a power point nearby — I bring the rest. If your spot won't work or it's on a busy road, I offer free pickup and drop-off, or you can bring it to me.
